Located in the extreme northwest corner of Minnesota, we have just about everything to offer. Our towns offer housing, employment, activities, and a top-rated school system.  While agriculture remains the leading source of jobs, economic development has brought several new businesses to the area. We have medical, optometric, legal, and dental services; craft breweries; photographers; a coffee house; gift shops; a food pantry; a new fire hall; a greenhouse; senior centers; a library with mobile services; a flooring business; a fitness center; a car dealership; lumberyard; and a pharmacy, to name a few. Many churches as well as several dining establishments and watering holes are available also. 
     Some of the summer activities include a county fair; camping; a swimming pool; men's softball league; golf leagues; tennis courts; fishing, kayaking, hiking, birding, and biking areas; and the annual Run, Roll, Ride, and Ribs. 
     Colder weather activities include hockey; curling leagues; a book club; snowshoeing; groomed cross-country skiing trails; miles of snowmobile trails; bowling; hunting; ice fishing; archery; and men's basketball. 
    Activities for children include 4H; Girl Scouts; golf league; swimming lessons; park board hockey; camp art; 4H day camps; figure skating; children's theater; summer rec baseball; and church youth groups.
